Error 404

Ah, the ubiquitous 404 Error: you've tried to access web page that isn't there, at least as far as the web server is concerned. Statistically speaking, this would have to be about the most common of all errors on the Internet so you are not alone. This page is meant to make the error less traumatic.

Why are you here?

The most common mistakes in accessing my content are:

• Putting the wrong end on the URL - as in .htm, instead of .shtml.
• Using the wrong case - all folder and file names are in lower case only. This web server is Apache 1.3 running on FreeBSD (Unix) so it is case-sensitive. For instance, you may have typed in the address with ALL CAPS.
• You or the referring webpage may have misspelled the address in the link. In other words, a simple typo.
